DreamWorks Water Park
TOUR DESCRIPTION

Roughly the size of 6.5 football fields and big enough to eliminate the word “bored” from your kids’ vocabulary for the day at least, DreamWorks Water Park is North America’s largest indoor water park. Because it’s fully enclosed, you never need to check the weather before visiting. Plan on dry skies and 81 degrees Fahrenheit 365 days a year. THE EARLY BIRD GETS THE WAVE. While every day at DreamWorks is perfect, one of the best parts begins before the water park opens. Starting at 7 a.m., sign up for a surf session or a private lesson with Skudin Surf in the 54,000-square-foot wave pool – the largest indoor wave pool in the U.S. Whether you’re a total beginner or a beast in a barrel, you’ll catch 50+ perfect waves in a two-hour session. Don’t thank Mother Nature. Thank the wave operator who customizes the settings so all ages and abilities catch some quality swell. Don’t have a board? No worries, bro! Skudin Surf has a complimentary quiver filled with bodyboards, foamboards, shortboards, and longboards. You don’t need a wetsuit, either. The water is heated to 84 degrees Fahrenheit, so you can show up in a bikini or baggies.

THE BIGGER, THE WETTER, THE BETTER. When DreamWorks opens for the day at 1 p.m., trade your board for a tube and choose from 19 unforgettable feats of aqua engineering. These aren’t your typical neighborhood water park rides. These are insane superlatives, including the country’s longest indoor lazy river, the world’s most enormous tipping bucket, the world’s tallest indoor speed slide, and the world’s longest hydromagnetic rocket coaster. In keeping with the DreamWorks theme, enjoy meet-and-greets with all your favorite characters, including Shrek, Poppy, Kung-Fu Panda, and King Julien. Don your swimsuit and dive into themed attractions like Far Far a Bay, the world’s biggest indoor wave pool, and DreamWorks Dream Runner, the world's longest hydromagnetic rocket coaster. A favorite among the daring, the Thrillagascar body slide begins with a trapdoor capsule drop.

VIP SUITE-MENT AND COZY CABANAS Need some time on dryland? Let the kiddos do their thing while you kick back in sumptuous Skybox Suites designed by New Jersey native Jonathan Adler. Every suite marries unrestricted water views with comfort and privacy. While a passport isn’t required, be prepared for the luxe décor and lighting to transport you to the exotic islands of Capri or Bali. (Pro tip: if 4 American Dream 2023 AmericanDream.com the Yucatan is more your style, book the Tulum room.) And while you’re living the suite life, why not treat yourself to a massage? Don’t move a muscle. Your therapist will come to you. Want to be closer to the action? Rent a poolside cabana featuring tropical teak sofas and curtains you can close when you need a cat nap or an impromptu changing room. Hungry? Leave your little slice of heaven and grab a snack at the Burger Shack for the Move It Move It Burger or the Cluckin’ Good Chicken Sandwich.

CALLING ALL SPEED DEMONS AND NIGHT OWLS If you’re convinced a splash a day keeps the doctor (or blues) away, purchase the Summer Season Splash Pass. This coveted golden ticket gives you two months of unlimited access to the entire waterpark. Show up as often as you want, and rest assured no one will ever judge you for having wrinkly fingers. To make the most of your DreamWorks Water Park visit, invest in a Turbo Pass, which allows you to skip the lines. And to get in even more rides, stay for the Water Park After Dark!
