Our current tour is self-guided and explores two hundred years of French Quarter history through the lens of the diverse families and individuals who have called the BK House home. This fall, visitors will be invited to tour inside the main house, built in 1826, and period parterre garden. They will also take in exterior views of the dependency buildings, original slave quarter and courtyard, and learn about these important multi-use spaces and their former inhabitants in an outdoor setting. We look forward to welcoming visitors back inside these tighter spaces - which also house the 1950s writing studio of Frances Parkinson Keyes - when it is safe to do so.
